Botox or alternatives where to start

I am looking to get a new job after years of wfh and staying at home I look rather decrepit. Wanting to spruce my face up a bit. My skin is ok but I have a wrinkly forehead which lets down my whole face tbh. I really want it sorted now but have no idea where to start.

Do I just google Botox providers? I'd rather pay and have the job down properly then end up with problems later in.

Wrinkles are completely normal, botox isn't. Don't get me wrong, I've been tempted but am trying other options.

What's your skin care routine like usually? I find a combo of glycolic acid (super drugs is cheap as chips and excellent), retinol (boots no7), and a good moisturiser day and night makes a huge difference to my skin and the appearance of fine lines. Plus factor 50.

I use collagen drops from Superdrug, they plump up the skin so the wrinkles look less. I don't have many but when I use it they practically disappear.

Definitely go the skin care route too as glowey skin makes you feel great, but Botox does something different it lifts the whole resting face very subtly for a more happy awake look. Is it skin quality alone or are you looking a bit heavy browed too?
if the latter I’d go to a dentist or medical practitioner for Botox, not a beauty therapist.

If you decide on Botox then read as many reviews as possible and find someone you feel comfortable with. I'd always advocate for less rather than more when it comes to Botox especially for the first dose, you can top up with more if you need to but if you get too much then you're stuck waiting for it to wear off. I agree that forehead wrinkles can really let your whole face down, I used to have awful 11 lines but thankfully I haven't had to see them in years thanks to Botox.

Botox will give you a quick fix. To slow down further lines, I’d use Tretinoin and spf 50.
