Help finding some jeans

Hi. I’ve seen this video from Very pop up on my Facebook feed for ages. The jeans are Levi 501 cropped I believe. I’d rather not spend upwards of £100 on them though and I’ve also heard they can be super uncomfortable. Can anyone recommend a similar cut or fit? I normally wear gap or river island jeans and I’ve always been happy with them. Thanks.

Buy them secondhand? I've got a pair of 501s that are years old (bought new), they're showing no signs of wear, except the denim has worn in nicely, and have outlived my expensive designer jeans. Whether they're as good now as they were, I'm not sure - perhaps another good reason to buy used!
