I am being taken out for my 30th birthday and no one is telling me where I’m going for the meal. I hate feeling overdressed and showing up all trussed up when everyone is in jeans and silk shirts- but my mum has said that I will absolutely not want to wear jeans.
That said- my mum is a very conservative dresser. So I will heed her advice, but I also will not show up looking like a wedding guest or too OTT.
Can anyone help me find the perfect, nonchalant, chic dress that I can throw on with tights and a pair of R&B heeled loafers with gold detail?
I’m 29 (for now), no body hang ups or bits i’d like covered. Size 10 top, size 12 bottom. Really good shoulders so I love a halterneck.
I don’t really have much time, so hopefully somewhere with great next day delivery!
