Has anyone had colour analysis recently?

Just out of curiosity / interest.

If so, what were you and did you already know? Also where are you finding things you like and that suit your shape in all the 'right' colours?

I had mine done. I'm a light spring. I already knew this really, so I already bought a lot of those colours.

I'm aiming for a bit of a capsule wardrobe so am going to come up with a colour palette for that and try to stick to it so everything goes together. I rarely succeed at that, but I enjoy the idea of it!

I had one about a year ago. I'm a warm spring which was helpful and made a lot of sense.
I also had a shape analysis as part of it but I didn't find it very helpful as I'd already worked it out anyway and tend to buy the right shape.

I haven't got the cash to buy much new at the moment but it's helped me think though purchases a bit more meaning I'm not buying things I then don't wear.

I had mine done in March. I'm jewel winter. I thought I was probably winter but maybe deep winter on the cusp of dark autumn. I'm very glad I'm winter because I prefer those colours. And wear a lot of them anyway.

I've not gone to a clothes shop yet but ordered quite a few things online to try on at home. Quite often the pictures don't show the shade accurately. For example blue based reds suit me. I see a red top online, order it and it's really much more orange based than it looked.

I'm being quite ruthless about what I I'm happy with and also fits well. I'm really mostly looking at reasonably priced t shirts atm. to replace some that are a bit worn and faded now; in my colours rather than just safe navy or black (also my colours but less so).

I've also been buying a few shades of jewel winter nail varnish as another thread on here about colour analysis pointed out that what seasons suit on you also goes for nail varnish.

I'm supposed to be going through my clothes and chucking stuff/donating stuff but I keep putting it off.

I've also been buying some lipstick in my colours.

There's quite a lot of jewel winter colours around even though it's spring/summer fashion in the shops.

Sorry meant to say, I've been returning a lot of stuff that's not right.
