Jacket/covering for halter dress

I was hoping please for some recommendations for a jacket/blazer/cover to wear with a halter dress.

I have my child’s holy communion soon, and I’m intending on wearing a halter dress. It’s midi/almost ankle length.

Im struggling with what style of cover to wear on top.

I don’t want a cardigan, and I’m worried a blazer will be too bulky, but I’m happy to hear any suggestions people might have.

Maybe a short, unstructured blazer or soft biker type jacket?

Here is a pic of one of the dresses (I haven’t got one of the other). It doesn’t look quite so casual in real life and it won’t be a casual affair, so a biker jacket I couldn’t wear.

I would buy a cropped boxy blazer or maybe a bolero style cardigan/shrug in white? They are having a bit of a revival atm and I think it would maintain the silhouette of the dress better than something longer

Zara do some really nice open crochet cardigans/blazers which I think would work well to be a bit of cover up but not too much
