Pockets

Why does no women's wear in Primark have pockets anymore! Not even the cardigans!

Primark is the easiest for me to go to so I went in today looking for new work clothes. No trousers with pockets except jeans. No pockets on any women's wear 😭😭.

I don't have a lot of time outside of work to shop so can anyone recommend (low budget and comfortable) trousers, dresses and cardigans with pockets please.

Pockets are expensive and budget clothing brands need to cut costs in order to keep prices down. The choice for the consumer is pay more or accept ever decreasing quality.

I ordered a jacket from Mint Velvet recently and even that had false pockets, despite not being cheap! Pockets will only be found in high end designer items soon.

It's ridiculous, babies get more pockets!

I don't want to spend loads as I work with children so I don't want to spend money on things that could potentially be ruined, but I just need pockets to hold a few essentials.

Primark is an awful brand, as well as exploiting the people who make the clothes and making clothes in a way that destroys the environment, the priority is profit - and pockets cost money.

In your situation I shop secondhand for work (so good things don't get wrecked) and decent things for home.

I didn't even think about second hand.

I'll take a look in the charity shops Smile

And yet you can barely find a T-shirt that doesn't have a stupid fiddly breast pocket! I hate them, I tell you!

Go to charity shops in the smartest part of town. Good luck! I get some brilliant stuff, got some lovely linen dresses WITH POCKETS Smile last year.

I agree pockets are essential.
