Shoes with dungarees

I have bought the black linen cropped dungarees from The White Company.
I like them and think they look good so no comments required about that.
BUT I don’t know what shoes to wear so they aren’t too “children’s TV presenter” or will they always be and I just have to deal with it?
I am 50 with a bit of arthritis so comfy shoes needed, I mostly wear trainers and have quite a collection but while I like my outfit from the ankles up I just can’t find shoes I’m happy with. When it’s warmer I will wear flip flops or similar but I can’t just yet
Any ideas?

So you have bought yourself a romper suit then OP ? No shoes necessary !

I only really tend to wear dungarees in summer as I only like them with sandals or flip-flops. Hightops like converse might look ok with them.

Or maybe Startrite?
