Denim waistcoat issues

I have a denim waistcoat that I want to take away with me on holiday but I just don't know what to wear it with as I'm nearly always in jeans , I'm taking denim shorts and denim dresses and probably white trainers/boots but really want to take my waistcoat too but don't know what to wear it with

I would wear with a maxi skirt or over a simple black or white maxi dress

can we see the waistcoat?

I think think you could wear it with something not denim and not blue. The wide leg rousers upthread is a good shout, if these were say a washed out black and paired with a nice tee, personally I wouldn't wear pattern/print with it as there's a lot going on withthe contrasting stiching. I imagine pinterest will have some fresh ideas!
