Has anyone used a lash growth serum that worked?

If so which one was it?

Highly skeptical of them all to be honest, but at 35 my lashes are already so sparse I’m willing to try it. I do get them lifted and tinted when I can which helps a bit, but they’re still frankly crap.
Would love any recommendations.

I’ve tried prescription only ones (with Bimatoprost) but stopped as was worried about side effects that others reported. They did work great - I had very long lashes.

Any that have prostaglandin have some risk - for me it’s not worth it.

Those that don’t have prostaglandin, I’m not convinced would do much.

Worth doing some research into before you buy anything for sure - especially as they’re quite expensive.

Hi. I use Bimatoprost for both lashes and brows. Never had an issue. I buy from Tretinoin World. Excellent company with fast shipping.( Do not work for them, I just purchase from them a lot)

Revitalash.
I've banged on about it on here before 😂I don't work for them i promise.

You use it twice a day at first (paint quick line along base of lashes) but once it gets going you can do once a day. You can use it over make up if you forget.

It takes 6 weeks to see results because it's working on the hairs to come - not the ones you can see and it's a 6 week growth cycle.

I've been using it for 10/12 years and i've had no problems with it.

A few months ago i ran out and tried a cheaper alternative and gave it 10 weeks. My lashes went back to being shite. Bought RL again and back they came Smile

Tried Beauty Pie and The Ordinary - both did nothing for me.

Clementine183 · 03/05/2023 15:08

UKLash worked for me! I used it for about ten weeks and definitely noticed a marked difference. I stopped using it when the bottle ran out and since then they've shrunk! I can't even quite get my head round how that works, but they've definitely gone back to "normal".

Kyse · 03/05/2023 15:11

Rapidlash worked well for me

something2say · 03/05/2023 17:04

I saw eyelash serums on this board.
Bought the one recommended on Amazon.

Unbelievable!! Definite results. Sorry cant name it.

Try one. I think they're good.

starsareblazing · 03/05/2023 17:08

Revitalash is brilliant but it does take me around 12 weeks of daily use to see a benefit!

TheFormidableMrsC · 03/05/2023 17:13

I lost all my eyelashes three weeks after finishing chemo. My daughter bought me some Revitalash. I was sceptical. Within a couple of weeks I had enough growth for mascara and within six weeks I had to stop using it as my lashes were far too long for my glasses. So I recommend that one definitely!

TheFormidableMrsC · 03/05/2023 17:14

Rapidlash, not Revitalash. I should have checked before posting.

Cranarc · 03/05/2023 18:06

I used UKLash. It made my lashes noticeably longer but not thicker, so I stopped.

Tulipsfordays · 03/05/2023 18:12

lilash worked wonders but too expensive to keep it up permanently

tried rapidlash as rapidbrow works great for me but next to no effect after 1 a day use for a few months now

have heard some swear by plain castor oil, anyone?

CamoFlamingo · 03/05/2023 20:29

Castor oil worked wonders for me.

dodofofo · 07/05/2023 19:03

Glow for it is my mid range recc! I've also used the ordinary & revitalash & GlowForIt was my fave. Have to stick it out for about a month then you'll get compliments not long after

Buildingthefuture · 07/05/2023 19:10

UK lash works brilliantly for me. My eyelashes had gone a bit stumpy after years of LVL. Beautician recommend UK lash and my eyelashes are so long now. Have recommended to all my friends 😊

waterlego · 07/05/2023 19:34

I’m using UK lash and have been impressed with the results. Lashes are much longer now. Have read about some potential side effects but not suffered any as yet.

Identifyingasadolphin · 07/05/2023 19:40

This is a bit random, but I was trialling testosterone gel alongside my HRT.
The testosterone gel caused my eyebrows not only to regrow, but the greys returned back to colour.
Eyelashes that had been too sparse for mascara also returned.

Smileyoriley · 07/05/2023 19:44

I used Revitalash for ages- brilliant but too ££££ to continue. I've tried many cheaper ones to no avail, but have settled on the Essence one from Wilko. Not quite as good as Revitalsh but for £5, actually pretty good! I've stock piled in case they stop making it

Kendaland · 07/05/2023 21:02

Rapidlash worked a treat but I started getting the orbital fat loss so had to pack it in, very sadly

Misty84 · 07/05/2023 21:12

Revitash is amazing, but very expensive! 6 weeks of use and you’ll have long eyelashes!

WoofWoofBeachLife · 07/05/2023 21:17

I've just ordered castor oil and rosemary oil, I've heard it's good. I'll report back. I'd love to try a highly recommended one from here, what are the side effects? Xx

SarahLHs · 07/05/2023 21:23

I use UK Lash. It's amazing. Have naturally very stubby lashes as this makes them super long.

Like with all serums you have to use it forever as otherwise they will go back to normal within a few weeks.

Some people are saying they’re experiencing orbital fat loss (loss of fat around the eye area) and some changes in skin colour of eyelids have also been reported I think.

WoofWoofBeachLife · 08/05/2023 09:32

@waterlego I read that in the article, I wouldn't use it for lashes now just in case. Definitely brows though. X
