I'm attending a wedding next weekend and it's basically my first formal even since pre covid. One of the side effects of covid (for me) is female pattern baldness. I now have significant hairless at my crown, to the extent that I can no longer just wear my hair down.

I also have some thinning at the hairline at the front but I can cope with that.

Other than this, my hair is long and thick. I'm looking for any suggestions on hairstyles which aren't too technical, will cover up my crown, whilst also being gentle on my hair. I'm really rubbish at hairstyles Grin

Happy to purchase any accessories clips/hairbands etc to add in.

Help!

What about a low pony tail with volume at the crown so you can tease it out to cover the sparser bits? Maybe even try the root spray you can get to give the illusion of more hair there.

Something like this?

That looks really nice! I'll nip and get some root spray and have a practice run.
