Hereditary lines and wrinkles

I am my father's daughter in more way than one.

My Dad - now 85 - has had two deep wrinkles from nose to top lip for the last 20 years. I've just turned 50 and I have the exact same lines in the same place (thanks Dad).

I don't expect to get rid of them, but what can I do, if anything, to soften them a little?! They're like 2 slash marks!

Nasolabial folds respond very well to filler. I don't think anything else would really make much difference

They're not nasolabial folds . Mine are like 2 vertical deep wrinkles that extend from my upper lip northwards to my nose.

This made me chuckle…I have a singular rogue, extra thick and long eyebrow hair just like my dad 😆

Try retinol, The Ordinary is good but you have to use it regularly for results.

Depending just how deep they are you might have some luck with skincare retinol/extra hydration etc etc
But if they are particularly stubborn (are they similar to smokers lines...I have one despite never smoking) filler may be your best bet.

My family have deep lines around the mouth. I had them since I was 20.

Emotionalstorm · 03/05/2023 12:54

The lines in my case are nasal labial folds.

Thanks @trickyfriendsone @SecretSwirrel

I'll grab some from The Originals in my local town. They're like deep scars despite never having smoked. Cheers Dad! And for my knobbly knees too!
