I had a thread on here the other day asking about a vit c serum and tried the recommended one and its fantastic. You guys really know your stuff! So im now looking for an affordable hydrating serum! I have been using tropics rainforest dew which is fantastic but quite expensive. Im trying to cut back on spending due to the cost of living at the moment. So can any of you recommend one that is good but not expensive? Thanks

Yes i got the Geek and Gorgeous one. You can get it on amazon. It's going ok so far, the only downside is that it has to be kept in the fridge.

The Ordinary Hyalauronic acid, then your moisturiser.

Agree with pp - any serum with hyaluronic (and that's most of them) will hydrate. Glycerin is another ingredient to look for.

The Superdrug Pure range is excellent as mentioned by @trickyfriendsone and last time I bought it, it was £2.99. Likewise Hada Labo Gold comes in a ginormous bottle from Amazon and costs less than £20.

Hyaluronic and Glycerin are wonderful skincare ingredients and both as cheap as chips. Any expensive serum containing these has manufacturers having a laugh.

(Interested to hear your opinions on the G&G, when my current Vit C finishes I'm going to try that)

I use Cerave. I think it’s brilliant & have noticed a real improvement. Not difficult tbh!

I like the Inkey List, it's easy to use and lightweight. I've used The Ordinary HA and Hyalamide (I think it used to be one of the Deciem brands like TO) and they're all much of a muchness, I just like that the Inkey List one isn't a dropper you can sort of tip it out.
