Sandals from High St shops

Has anyone bought sandals from mid-range High St retailers and found them good in terms of comfort and lasting a reasonable amount of time?

I’m talking retailers like M&S, Next, New Look, etc (not high end retailers). I’m just curious as I’ve usually always bought from FitFlop and Clark’s but I go through shoes at a great rate as I walk everywhere and I’m getting tired of having to buy new shoes every year as I just wear them out.

I've got some from ASOS from last year and they're still in great condition. However, I don't walk far in them as they're a bit too flat and thin soled, so probably isn't a fair test.

I've just ordered some Birkenstock dupes as I'm sick of rebuying them every summer. They were only £29.99 in the sale. Hope they're as comfy as my birkies

I’ve had some Next shoes which have worn well.

I’ve had comfortable sandals from all the shops you’ve mentioned and I have awkward feet!

Yes, some leather ones I got from Deichmann a few years back spring to mind. Nice-looking, incredibly comfortable (no need to break them in) and also amazing value as I got them in a sale. That said, the full price was £30 so would've still been worth it.
Have also had good sandals and shoes from others places.
Do love FitFlops though...

If you walk a lot, then i would stick to better quality shoes.

I buy most of my shoes from Vinted, for a fraction of their original price. Most have hardly been worn, if at all. Find a make you like and know comes up true to size and keep checking for new listings - bargains don't hang around for long!
