Root touch up for blonde hair

What do you recommend for a root touch up for blonde hair?
I can't afford to keep having my roots done every five weeks at the hairdressers. Contemplating letting the grey just all grow out through my hair, but while I'm Contemplating this, I would like a home root touch up.

I use a box dye and leave it on the roots only for 15/20 mins- whatever the instructions say then through rest for the last 5/10 mins and it works well.
