First post on S & B, be gentle with me!

I bought this dress for my son’s wedding in June - https://www.fee-g.com/product/flora-floral-print-dress-green-7502-215/

I love the dress - but I normally live in jeans and T-shirts and am not really used to dressing up!

what colour shoes/bag to go with it? Emerald green ‘too much?’ Blue or pink to contrast? Even black?

I’m 5ft 4 and 9 1/2 stone, dark blond shoulder length hair.

Wedding not till mid June so I have time but if anyone can point me in the right direction I’d be most grateful!

I would have a hat/fascinator in the pink and stick to nude or navy for shoes and bag

Just looked again.. is that silver in the dress? In which case silver shoes and bag

HannahinHampshire · 29/04/2023 17:50

Thank you both. I love the linked bag!

there’s not really ‘silver’ in the dress, more a very pale blue.

I like the green sling backs too. I’m so not used to walking in heels though! But I think the dress needs a heel, even a small one.

I wouldn’t suggest green for accessories- pick a different colour from the dress. Personally I’d go with bright pink, but pale blue a little safer!
