Are these grim?

Can you please be honest. I am 50 something and these are the most comfortable thing I have ever worn on my feet! But are they awful?

I'm assuming they are plastic? So not great. But not grim.

I think they’re fine, nice even. However the nuances that plunge white sandals X into ignominy while almost identical white sandals Y are approved often pass me by.

I think it’s more to do with how gnarly the feet are that go into them. Get a pedicure and they’ll look great.

I honestly think they're fine. I like the chunkiness of them. Presume you already have them, or have tried them on multiple times, as you said they're very comfy, so I'd say that's a win all round.

PS Meant to add that I've had Heavenly Feet shoes before and have also found them incredibly comfy.

I think it's a personal thing - I don't like them at all (I'm 55) but I'm not a fan of chunky soles on sandals. You should wear what you like and not give a monkeys fluff what anyone else thinks! (I'm now at the comfort trumps everything stage....)

However I had a pair of Heavenly Feet slippers which were the most comfortable slippers I have ever owned and lasted 3 years despite being washed, worn in the garden and for decorating!

My white Doc Martens sandals arrived today, they are gorgeous but will take some breaking in. I wore them for a walk in the bluebell woods and they were ouchy so if they are comfortable go for it.

the overall style isn't bad, I like a chunky sandal but I think 2 design details ruin it.

The ghastly, massive, white plastic buckle.

And the wood look platform on the white foam base, something about that contrast is hideous to me.

Not grim, but they're the kind of shoe that would look fantastic on some hot tanned twenty-something but on me would look like I'm channelling Bridget Jones' mum.

No shade though, I'm all about the comfort these days.
