Dress me for my 1st day out post-baby

Spoiler alert - said baby is now 2.5 😂😂

Late lunch and cocktails with some friends in our nearest city. It’s literally the first time I’ll have left our child in 2.5 years other than for work but I have a uniform for that. My days off are usually spent in jeans/leggings and a jumper running about after DC at toddler groups 😅

I feel like I have no idea how to dress myself for anything else now 😳

So, if you were me, what would you wear? Size 22, paleish skin, mid brown hair. I hate purple but apart from that I have no colour preferences. Ideally I’d disguise my tummy and tops of arms

How much time do you have before this eve out? What's your budget and what kind of style do you like?

Would you link to some outfits you like?

Also what height you are might make a difference - and what features are a concern/favourite (e.g my c section scar and podge shelf is my concern, I still need to feed in my outfits)

Apparently heels are dead now, but I do like a low block heel - and I think for me as a baby and toddler mum i feel like "ah I'm not in mum mode now because I've got me out-out shoes on". Personally I think wedge espadrilles are a classic and go with everything in spring/summer
