Moisturiser & SPF help please

I’m 47 & need a new moisturiser & also want to use a higher spf than I have been. Up until now I’ve always used a moisturiser with spf in it but have read it should be a separate product. How should I apply? Normal moisturiser first & then separate spf on top?
Is suncream for the face the same as separate spf?
I’ve looked in boots but most spf’s seem to be included in moisturisers for example i like Cerave & they have spf 50 but it’s included in the moisturiser, is that ok?
Also I’ve started to get signs of wrinkles on my neck, should I use anything different here, what might help with this? I’m a bit confused by it all! Thanks

Definitely use a separate sunscreen. Moisturise, wait a bit, then apply sunscreen. If you're outside all day, reapply after a few hours. I keep a small travel size bottle in my bag - you can get the spray ones to avoid touching your face or to use over makeup.
