Face care for the very avoidant

I'm mid 40s.
My skin care consists of soap and water. Spf 50 aprox 10 times a year.
I HATE the feel of moisturizer on my skin (face or body). I can just about cope with a soap and glory body butter when my legs get very dry. But it stings for about 5 mins after it's put on (as with all I've tried).
In terms of face, I've tried simple, neutragena, dermalogicia (that's not quite right - an expensive something Mum bought to try and convert me), boots own. Probably various others. They make my skin feel greasy, and often create a spot breakout.
I can just about cope with boire watery essence as sunscreen, but again usually get spots. It's used rarely.

The radio has been telling me I should add spf to my daily moisturizer.... The advert has been on pretty much every day for the past 2 weeks as i set off to work! What might I tolerate (ideally that won't break the bank)?

Honestly if you feel this strongly I wouldn't bother.

The only thing I can think is maybe a gel moisturiser? That's a lighter texture. My brother has oily skin and likes the Hada Labo range at superdrug

With SPF on the face, if you get breakouts it's usually because it's not removed properly
It's designed to stay on so you often need an oil based cleanser to break it down

I would (if you can tolerate it) use a cleansing balm and a hot flannel, and then wash it off with (this pains me!) soap or something like cerave foaming cleanser to make sure it's all off
If you wanted a change from soap then cerave do a cleansing bar

For body, you could try a couple of things
Bioderma shower oil instead of shower gel
Nivea in shower moisturiser - you put it on wet skin in the shower then dry yourself as usual
Sanctuary did a great one but discontinued it and I've only seen it in TK maxx (it's a clear gel and smells of watermelon)

For face moisturiser, stick with the biore or if you need moisture then maybe neutrogena hydro boost I think it's called which is more of a gel
