Wedding is in the Autumn. A large Manor House/wedding hotel type venue (:

Narrowed down these 4 dresses please help me decide.

A - Purple
B - Green Short Sleeve
C - Green Long Sleeve
D - Navy

I don’t think it’s an age thing. Perhaps a social circle ‘norm’ thing in which case I wouldn’t ask on here because this sort of thing isn’t really the mumsnet vibe 😂

Navy is the best but it does look a bit tacky I'm afraid. Though if it's the sort of wedding where everyone is fake tans, pumped up lips and hair extensions it will be ok.

None of them are very wedding appropriate, works Christmas party maybe.

The second one, the green short sleeve would be gorgeous with a little jacket or wrap maybe. Love it. The first would fit more for going out for drinks with the girls.

With your shape you'll look fabulous in most things.

Navy or sleeveless green. The problem with shein is that it might look very cheap when it comes. My one and only order had clothes which were supposed to be natural fibre but very plasticky.. is it possible for you to order and return them if you don't like it? But please make sure you have seen the return policy for each of these dresses. Hope you find a lovely dress, with your figure everything will look fab.

I really like the green short sleeve and the navy ones. Think I would go only a medium heel and not too much jewellery with these. If I had the figure for it definitely the green short sleeve! I'd want a wrap option of some sort.

I just went to a black tie wedding and think you've nailed it with the dark colours.

I get most of my dresses from Silkfred. Wide variety. This is what i wore for a wedding in March.

I'd go with the green strappy one. You could wear a jacket in the church if you need to be covered. It's totally normal wedding attire to me and I'm almost forty and live dahn sahth (ahem...down south)

If money is tight, have you considered renting instead?

I wouldn't buy from Shein, I think you could pay similar prices for something better elsewhere, especially size 8-10!

None are appropriate wedding attire.

I'd not go for any of them, they don't look very weddingy.

I think B is the most appropriate for a wedding out of the selection. It might be a bit chilly for outdoor photos in Autumn.
