What’s your favourite “natural cosmetics” brand?

I hang my head in shame, I am a Tropic stuff lover. My friend sells it and I buy it because it is good for my skin and it’s a one stop shop for me. Everything works and all in one place with zero effort on my part.
For various reasons (MLM ethical issues related but not just that) I want to step away from it. What other brands are there which sell face, body and make up products, ideally available online and not horrendously expensive? I want stuff that works, so don’t want to rely on google.

Weleda - brilliant ethics and fantastic products

Thank you, I remember using their baby products when DS was tiny. I’ll have a look.

Am big fan of Neal's Yard Remedies.
https://www.nealsyardremedies.com/pages/our-brand

Ethical, sustainable, really effective and nicely packaged.

I particularly rate their
White Tea Reviving Facial Mist.
(Keep mine in the fridge and spritz myself during hot flushes!)

and

Beauty Sleep Body Lotion.
(Silky smooth skin, has really helped improve stubborn dry patches on my legs).

Currently a 20% off deal for most products..

Oooh that’s very tempting. I am 99% sure I’m peri menopausal and my skin has just gone a bit wild.
I seem to be past the hot flushes now (fingers crossed) but there was a time not that long ago that a cold spray would have been handy!

Upcircle is something that might work for you. I like the eye cream and hand-wash. I'm not sure the moisturiser is sensitive enough for my face though.

Rosti1981 · 26/04/2023 18:07

I like Aveda (bit spensy), Bare Minerals (for makeup), Simple (if that counts, it probably isn't all it markets itself as) and the Aldi rip off hot cloth cleanser that has the same ingredients as Liz Earle.

Rosti1981 · 26/04/2023 18:07

Oh and I do like Neal's Yard too

IntheSnowySnowyMountains · 26/04/2023 18:21

I like Caudalíe (especially the resveratol lift range and the hand cream). I also use REN, Oskia, Liz Earl, Balance Me and Aurelia (which is expensive but I love the smell of the nighttime facial oil). Not all at once!

For make up I use Bare Minerals because I prefer powder foundation.

I have gone back to Clinique for a toner because I realised I need an alcohol free one.

MooGo. Very gentle and natural. Good for sensitive, excema prone skin and doesn't contain mineral oil or silicones and also no added scent.

Hey there! It's great that you're looking to explore other options now. There's no need to feel ashamed for liking a certain brand.
If you're looking for all-in-one products that work well and are affordable, check out globalpalletsliquidation.com. They offer a wide range of beauty and skincare products from various brands at discounted prices.

Indeed Weleda always comes out well in reviews. However, unfortunately for me there must be something in the base of all or a lot of their products that really affects my skin! I come out in a really fiery itchy rash! But don't let that put you off!
