Is beauty pie worth it and what are their best products?
Is it subscription based?

I think it's a mixed bag. There are about 5 products I couldn't be without. However some of the skin stuff set off a dermatitis on my skin which I still have. One of the collagen products gave me the worst diarrhoea - and they wouldn't put my review up despite some of the older reviews mentioning it. So I don't trust their reviews now.
They have just sent out my order twice by mistake and charged me for both but there was no apology and now I'm going to have to go to the faff of returning it. The tone of the email was terrible - they basically want me not to bother and them keep the money. Everything being out of stock is a pita.
But annoyingly the things I like, I like a lot.

I think the waterproof mascara and one powder wonder are excellent. I also think the spray self tan that you apply with a brush is a really good colour with a foolproof application.

How on earth do you get the waterproof mascara off? It just does not move!

I was a member from the the beginning until a couple of years ago when they automatically changed £5 a month members to £10 without their permission. At the beginning it was a great bargain. Prices were a fraction of what they are now. There was a price breakdown for each individual product. They seemed very transparent and they didn't advertise or use influencers (very much - I remember Fleur de Force though showing their products when they launched).
I found that some of their products were excellent. The eyeshadow sticks are fantastic and do compare well to Bobbi Brown and Laura Mercier. I really liked their SPF (not the tinted one), one powder wonder, super luminous under eye corrector and brush and Japanfusion cleanser.
I binned the tinted moisturiser with SPF , the tinted primer (vile smell - Marcia the founder advised me to take a deep breath when applying so I didn't notice it) and the neutral eye shadow palette which had no color pay off.
So, I found a few excellent products, a few dreadful ones and lots of nice ones.
All I would advise is that you take the RRPs with a huge punch of salt. Try it if you like the look of it, but don't think you're getting a bargain. I find that there are so many offers around in recent months from other shops and online stores that I can get bargains from well known brands rather than be limited to BP.

I recently cancelled because the prices have gone up and I was fed up paying the £10 monthly subscription. I do love their candles though. I also like their eyeshadow palettes and their lipsticks but I felt obliged to buy from BP rather than trying other brands. I couldn’t get on with their foundation.

I always join when they have free membership and order enough of the things I like to tide me over until the next offer (mainly facial suncream, moisturiser and shower gel) and then cancel.

They always have stock issues, I get fed up of everything I want being out of stock constantly. Also, the pricing is dubious, not sure how they can claim what it should be priced at, as it just isn't, so it makes me feel like they aren't really honest about that.

The make up is poor quality, never been impressed with any of the stuff I've tried. Also, how many beauty products do you actually need? I'd rather just use the membership money to pay for stuff I actually want that isn't Beauty Pie.

I will say that they package everything up beautifully, but that's not worth the membership fee! Grin
