Double Wear- which shade?

I‘ve heard such good things about Estee Lauder Double Wear that I want to finally try it.

I currently use Lily Lolo mineral powder and want something with more coverage.

I mainly wear the shade Blondie, in high summer I wear Barely Buff.

I am blonde and pale but not deathly so, with a neutral skin tone. I burn quickly without suncream on, but tan with it.

Any idea what shade I need?

Can you go into to an Estee Lauder counter somewhere? I went to a counter in a department store close to me years and years ago and the girl behind the counter told me my shade by just looking at me, I still wear the same shade today.

Unfortunately not for a few weeks (I don’t live near a big town or city). Maybe I should be patient and wait, I don’t want to waste my money!

Go to one of their counters they now have little machines that match your correct shade. You can also ask them for a small sample to try before you make final purchase.

If you type your current foundation into this site it will tell you all the colour matches in other brands. It really useful.

If you go onto Estée Lauder website they have a feature which helps u find your shade- hopefully my link has worked! They usually match it pretty well but make sure you’re in good natural light!

Those Lily Lolo shades sound familar to me, though it's been years since I used it - I'm Cool Bone or Ecru (in summer) in Double Wear.

If you have a counter it's definitely worth getting checked in person as it's not cheap, but you can also normally find samples on Ebay. Could try out a couple of shades that way, once you've narrowed it down to a couple of options
