I'm freckly with brown-going silver hair and I burn every damn year, although I do tan somewhat. Age spots galore at 55 :(
Having grown up in a generation when no one ever put sun screen on me as a kid, and I pretty much coated myself in cooking oil as a teen, my skin has suffered.. I remember my Gran putting a paste of bicarb on my back to soothe the awful sunburn.

Currently treating an Actinic keratoses on my nose (pre cancer) and had a Keratoacanthoma surgically removed a few years ago. Lots of moles that I'm keeping an eye on!

Also have an adult son with autism who is about to start immunosupressants which will make him highly sun sensitive and liable to skin cancer...and he's blonde.

We are back off to Australia (where my eldest son now lives) next February...summer. We need great skin protection that is non greasy, non sticky, can't feel it stuff or DS2 won't cope with it and neither will I.. sensory issues!

Also any recommendations for sun safe clothing for either of us, so I can get some and accustom DS2 to wearing it well in advance as he's going to need it here too if we get any sunshine this summer!

Any help appreciated!

I like Garnier Amber Solaire anti-age super UV spf 50 for my face. They have sprays if that’s too thick for you. Altruist is good too, developed by a consultant dermatologist and skin cancer surgeon.
