Spring/summer lightweight neutral jacket

Hi

I've been looking around for a jacket to wear with jeans that's lightweight and a light colour. Doesn't have to be practical or waterproof, just an extra layer when it's a bit chilly.

I'm a short size 14, busty and bigger in the belly bum and thighs but smallish waist.

Anyone have anything they could recommend? Blazers don't seem to look nice on me or anything too fussy. Belted jackets seem to be a bit much too for some reason.

What's your budget? I am looking for the same thing on a budget. M and S has some nice trench coats.

Ooh not much really, under £50 preferably

I'm in a French city and every woman here seems to own a 'mi saison' trenchcoat to wear at this time of year. Mid-thigh, various shades of beige, nice lining, belt optional (often just tied casually at the back).

Or a lighter puffa-style 'doudoune' : usually bum length, navy with contrasting lining.

Scarfs are obligatoire.

I have this coat in a beige and I love it for it's classic shape & it's unfussy look.

Where is that from, Cantonet? It's nice. John Lewis also has nice macs.
