Smart plus size cool (temperature wise) work clothes

Work in winter is easy, black jumper dresses.

It's too warm now and I am also peri menopausal. I imagine cotton shirts would feel good but they don't fit me at all - broad shoulders, big chest.

I wore jersey dresses last spring/summer but have put weight on end they don't look good.
I should really lose weight but need to look/feel good now. Dresses are my preference.

I can't throw money at it. Ideal would be a couple of dresses or tops at £50 each.

I am plus size and prefer trousers. I go for looser / wide leg linen or cotton ones with a cotton top or t-shirt.

If you like the jersey dresses but they don't look good anymore, could you just buy similar but size up?

Agree with wide leg trousers and a range of smart tops.
Lightweight jackets.

I tried some wide leg trousers and I felt huge in them. Maybe I need to try some more. Those dresses look nice, I could wear the one that comes in black.
I need to wear tights which feels ok with cotton but maybe not linen.
Also tailored jackets feel very unflattering with broad shoulders.
