Anyone used this? Any good?

I've used it. I found it really good.

I bought it after being shown how well it worked at the Clinique counter. It really does just take your make up right off and was worth the money.

Rub it in, and then just wipe it off. It's really quick and easy.

StrongTeaDropOfMilkNoSugar · 18/04/2023 22:27

Yes, and yes. Gets rid of make up and SPF. Not as luxurious (ie fragranced) as some of the more expensive cleansing balms (eg Emma Hardie Moringa), but does the job. Probably better for sensitive skin as a result.

moonspiral · 18/04/2023 22:36

The stuff in a tub? Awful, broke me out and dried my skin

Tailfeather · 18/04/2023 22:37

I love it!

MrsPelligrinoPetrichor · 18/04/2023 22:38

I think the body shop cammomolie balm is a dupe which is excellent.

Mercedesbenz2022 · 18/04/2023 22:39

the body shop one is better , and cheaper !

JMTWords · 18/04/2023 22:41

I prefer the balm to the oil, and it’s probably my favourite balm cleanser.

I did also like the body shop camomile one mentioned but didn’t love the scent.

I’ve used the Emma Hardie balm as well but again, it is strongly scented.

SocksAndTheCity · 18/04/2023 23:01

My favourite too. It's expensive, but I find a pot lasts me for ages.

TheChosenTwo · 18/04/2023 23:06

Oh god I loathe the fragrance of the Emma hardie moringa cleaning balm, so strong and medicinal! I gave away any that I received in GWPs but thankfully they are few and far between now.
I don’t mind the Clinique take the day off but really like the farmacy ones the most. Similar
balm texture, think Clinique is cheaper but I wouldn’t recommend spending a lot of money on cleansers, they aren’t staying on your skin for long!

FredaFox · 18/04/2023 23:08

I love it but prefer the Elemis

The smell of Emma Hardie is love it or loathe it I think! I’ve got used to it and use it when I want to pretend I’m at a fancy spa instead of my bathroom.

newfriend05 · 19/04/2023 00:00

My favourite make up remover.. I use the balm

PlatinumBrunette · 19/04/2023 00:15

The balm, excellent.
The liquid stuff in a bottle, stings my eyes and isn’t so good anyway.

Slimjimtobe · 19/04/2023 00:41

I love dermalogica pre cleanse- smells beautiful and takes all off super fast

Scienceadvisory · 19/04/2023 00:55

I've just started using a mini pot of it. Can't yet decide whether I like it. It does a good job of getting off make up but I have come out with a few little pimples. Need to give it a couple of weeks to see if it settles down.

bob1985 · 19/04/2023 05:40

Thanks everyone!

Thats what happened to me. And then my skin went dry

Can you use that on your eyes?

NowZeusHasLainWithLeda · 19/04/2023 06:43

I've used it and liked it, I prefer balms in the evening.
But! The N7 balm for dry skin is a million times nicer in a bigger pot and imo is even better than the Elemis which is lovely but £££ and the Body Shop one.

Cleanser doesn't need to cost £££. It goes down the plughole in 30 seconds.

dammiejodger · 19/04/2023 06:44

I love it. Does a great job of taking everything off.

WeRateSquirrels · 19/04/2023 07:40

The Clinique and Body Shop ones were both terrible for my sensitive eyes.

TheOGCCL · 19/04/2023 08:54

I liked it at first but then it started to break me out and my skin felt dryer, I don’t really rate Clinique skincare (make up is much better). You should be able to get a trial pot from somewhere, try eBay,

xogossipgirlxo · 19/04/2023 11:15

Yes, I used it and liked it. Now switched to more natural options, so I wouldn't buy again, but it melted make up nicely.

yoshiblue · 19/04/2023 11:24

I love the M&S pure cleansing balm (seen it recommended on Mumsnet several times. It's only £14 and no irritation (I have very sensitive skin) So happy with it!

I much prefer the Emma Hardie balm. The Clinique one feels basic, not luxurious at all.
