Mulberry bag

I recently treated myself to a large iris mulberry bag in black.

I've been so so so disappointed with this bag. I had another mulberry bag for 10years+ and loved it so thought I'd get an updated one but the quality seems really poor.

The gold hardware is rubbing away after 4 months of not being used that much.

It's really an awkward shape, if you over fill it the bag doesn't sit right but if you under fill it it just flops apart. And there is a long strap which I'd hoped to use a lot but even with just a purse and keys in the bag the strap continually unclips and falls to the floor. When I asked customer services they said I just be overloading the bag which I'm definitely not.

The handle has started to fray so I've also emailed to change it under the warranty which they will do but I'm just so unhappy with the bag in general. Is there anything I can do, I've heard they'll buy back mulberry's but is it anywhere near what you pay for it?

Otherwise am I better trying to sell it on privately or do I just except I wasted a lot of money!?

Given the issues with the handle and the gold hardware, can you ask for a refund rather than a warranty replacement? I’d be hesitant with a warranty replacement in case it’s marked as such.

Mulberry seem to have gone from craftsmanship to sweat shop and have lost their previously excellent quality control.

Return to as faulty or not fit for purpose.

For £1.5K I’d expect the quality to match. I wouldn’t let them take the piss out of me.

Just keep asking politely for a refund.

I was really disappointed with the last 2 Mulberry bags I bought. The quality is nowhere near as good as it used to be and they aren't worth the money.

Can you get a refund?

Thanks - I’ve emailed my complaints and they have asked me to send the bag for assessment so will see what they say!

I've just seen this thread, bag shopping.
Which brands do you prefer to Mulberry for similar price but better quality?
Thank you
