What do you think of v-neck jumpers for casual wear?!

I’m talking about the classic, no frills v-neck jumpers, like those sold by Pure Collection and Woolovers (and tons of other retailers).

Do you think they look boring? Or understated and chic?!

Absolutely fine if you like v-necks. They can look odd if the top you've got on underneath has a different neckline. I don't like how a crew neckline t-shirt looks under a v-neck jumper, for example. But that's the case with a lot of necklines.

I've gone away from v-necks, but I used to have a really nice green v-neck jumper from Esprit and also black and teal ones from elsewhere. I wouldn't call them either boring nor chic, intrinsically.

I wear them. Admittedly, I am not at all trendy. I am small busted and have a long neck, plus my decotellage is still good.

I think classic is not boring.

Very nice, but I think they need a shirt under and it can look/feel a bit lumpy if the jumper is on the small side and the shirt a loose fit.

They need a crisp shirt under with collar out or round neck tee to look up to date imo.

If you have big boobs they are pretty essential. Crew necks are so unflattering. I like a fairly deep v, difficult to find though.

Yes, I don't think crew necks flatter anyone. I'm not big boobed but suit V necks so much better.

Personally, I think scoop (proper deep) necks are the best option.

I don't know if they 'flatter' me as such, but I prefer the way they look on me, which is similar and the more important thing. Not big breasted though and I don't like to show skin.
