Anyone wearing Toms?

I’ve just ordered some Toms sandals from Next and they are lovely. Now I’m looking at the boots and vegan wedges.

For some reason I don’t find trainers comfortable and I’m giving up on them for summer so wondering what I could wear instead and came across these.

Anyone else wearing them? How do you find them?

Just bought a couple of pairs of the flat espadrilles from M&S. They seem comfortable and I like them, but it'll need to be good weather before I can wear them.

I used to love Toms (the style that look like keds), comfortable, goes with lots of outifts and quite durable despite the simple construction. I can't wear them anymore as need more space in the toe box but would always recommend.

If you don't find regular trainers comfortable anymore, perhaps you need shoes that have a more flexible sole?

Apologies, I missed that it was sandals you had bought and was thinking of the old style Toms! 😅

SureThing01 · 16/04/2023 15:53

Yes I’m looking at all the styles they do!

Yes I wear their flats most of the time unless it's really wet. They are the most comfortable shoes I've found. I do think that they wear out fairly quickly though. I haven't tried the sandals or boots.

I have a couple of pairs of their boots I bought in lockdown, they look lovey but I find them really uncomfortable, they’re very small fitting and very narrow so my feet always get spare across the top of my arch… still east then though, they weee pensive and I’m stubborn

I just bought these Toms sandals for a city walking holiday this summer. I need something flat-ish for comfort but need some height as I'm quite short. I really don't like the current chunky look in sandals :( what do you think? I'm not 100% sure I like them enough to keep :(

I’ve just got those in the blue version! I love them and they are comfortable. Not sure I could do long walks in them though.

Yes, that's my thought, I need them to be super comfy so I'm m not sure they are the right ones!

BluebellBlueballs · 16/04/2023 21:30

Love them. I like the alpagarta pump and have 4 pairs in various colours!

Following as looking for lightweight trainers for city walking this summer, maybe canvas?
Any recommendations welcome.

cocksstrideintheevening · 17/04/2023 23:15

Careful if it's wet, the bog standard ones are so slippery

Thighdentitycrisis · 17/04/2023 23:15

I still like the classic canvas ones and wear my ones with pineapples on
