Hair extensions for volume

Has anyone had hair extensions to add volume and thickness, not to add extra length. I am going to a wedding in a hot country shortly and my fine hair will just wilt. Its in a long bob which looks reasonably OK but it could do with looking a bit thicker, especially as the heat makes it so limp. Also, do you just wash, style and brush your hair as normal with extensions? Tia.

I'd be interested to hear about extensions too. I would love fuller hair again.

I have tape hair extensions for volume.
I only needed them at the sides as my hair is naturally thick but I had done over zealous shirt layers at the sides that I hated.
I love the extensions... they look like my hair. I wash and style exactly the same. You do need to use sulphate free shampoo and conditioner though

*short layers

Thanks sugaspunsista. That's sounds like what I need. The back of my hair is OK. It's just the sides.

I had half a head...I honestly can't feel them. They really do look like my hair.

I told two friends I had extensions and they didn't believe me until I showed them

I have nano bead hair extensions. My hair is fine/thin shoulder length and i have around 20 - 25 extensions in that are fitted in line with the top of my ears down. I love them, not noticeable at all and make a huge difference. I go every 10-12 wks for them taking out and re-installing.
