Low cost wedding dress

Getting married with just 2 guests at a registry office, would like a nice dress which is a bit special but can be used for other events... budget up to £100

I am a size 8-10 with a small bust. Bit of a wobbly tummy post kids! Brown hair.

Any advice would be gladly received!

IMO:

Coast dress - Meets your requirements, is memorable without being single-use. The sage looks more 'bridal' but I prefer the red because you ARE the star of this show!

Stories dresses - All pretty but too understated.

Anthropologie - Perfect wedding dress. Would you wear that much puffiness on other occasions?

The tiered Coast dress is lovely in any of the colours.

Unfortunately I think the Asos one looks a bit cheap.

I got married last year. We had been engaged for ever, had 4 kids at that point and wanted to just get married. We organised a babysitter (first completely child free night since we started our family) and decided to elope. Went to Gretna and came back husband and wife.

since it was just us two and since we were a bit rushed for time, I actually got a dress off Amazon for something like £40. I asked a girl who is local to me to alter it which was about £15. I loved it- when I look back at how little time I spent wearing it, I’m glad I never spent a fortune.

Thank you v much for your replies they are helping shape my thinking!

So now thinking: knee length or midi, short sleeve, maybe a kind of retro vibe, like the idea of silver, elegant but not too formal. I really like the silver coast tiered dress but not in my size.

Or i'll wear my jeans 😂
