September wedding in Sardinia - help !

I have no idea what I should wear - It is being held at a posh hotel which is by the beach no mention of a church on the invitation nor a dress code, second wedding for the groom after his wife died but first wedding for his bride who is in her 20s.

I am size 22 and don't usually do the heat and I expect it will be around 26-28 degrees still then.

I will also be wearing flat shoes after knee surgery 2 months before, just to complicate matters!

Any ideas ?

Can I say as a size 16 what saves me in the heat is anti perspirant under my belly fold and cotton cycling shorts under dresses!

What’s your body shape OP? Is there anything you’d like to cover. What length? Etc

I've just found these dresses as a new brand on the M&S website & thought they looked pretty.

Try to get something in cotton or linen. I have been to the East coast of Sardinia many times in September and it can still very hot, especially the first two weeks of the month.
