Hi, I spotted these sandals ages ago on a model on the Anthropologie site and liked them. They are finally in stock but now when I'm unsure. They were very nice on tanned/black feet but would they be hideous on my very white feet? I'm looking for summer shoes to wear with turned up trousers and jeans mainly. Something for everyday that I don't have to worry too much about putting tan and nail varnish on before wearing them.
I don't want to look like I've gone for the 'comfortable' option. I have birks for that. I want to look relatively cool. I can't decide if they are too much like saltwater sandals?

This is my issue with sandals.
I want closed toe because I have huge, white, hobbity feet. But even closed toe just makes me look like Bilbo's mother.
I spend all spring trying to find something then just buy another pair of Fitflop Rally trainers.

PS they don't look like Saltwaters at all to me (but I do think you need relatively small and hopefully tanned feet to look good in Saltwaters)

I quite like them. However I also don't like my feet out so I wear Solillas (menorcan sandals). Easy to slip off and on and feel like sandals whilst all the toes are covered.

YES! This exactly. Saltwaters are so cute on children or women with tanned, petite, narrow feet. On my flat, fat, white, size six feet, they are hideous!

I have menorcan sandals. They are nice but I never seem to reach for them.......I think the ones I have might be a little loose so I don't feel secure driving in them.
