Alternative to denim jacket

I work in a relatively casual environment but a new dress code has been implemented which states no denim. Historically I have worn a denim jacket as an extra layer over midi dresses in spring/summer but this isn't allowed now. I wear a slouchy/oversized blazer with cropped trousers but the proportions are wrong with dresses. I've been searching for an alternative but can't find anything that work. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

May not be your thing but Kettlewell do denim type jackets in loads of colours, plus soft biker type jackets.

I've had a few of them as I look awful in cardigans but need another layer

M&S do a nice quilted cotton bomber jacket that’s a good alternative. Let me see if I can link it…

I saw a gorgeous camel coloured canvas bomber with gold buttons in Zara.

Try Superdry for canvas denim style jackets.

This is GORGEOUS in navy and also sold out sadly. Available in cream.
