Hi, I’ve been bleach blonde highlights for as long as I can remember. Am 5 months into growing them out as tbh my hair is fried and I don’t think I can get away with it anymore.
I want shiny soft hair and also - I’ve not seen my natural hair colour for around 20 years other than 1 inch of roots…
However it’s driving me mad as it is… the blonde has gone a crappy dull colour, am considering putting a colour over the blonde like a darker blonde or even a coppery glaze ? Just feel it looks so crap as it is… but don’t want to colour the natural hair coming through. Just look like I’ve got greasy roots and shite dry blonde ends 😳🥵

Do you just want the final results to be your natural colour only?

I would be reluctant to pop copper in until you're sure what the final look will be.

Coppers a bit of a pain to get out imo.

Tbh it's really not as bad as you think! Perhaps a demi-permanent caramel or a darker blonde to blend better.

Thanks for your reply! I’m not sure re final result. I do suit the blonde but my hair can no longer cope and think I’m getting to the age where hair condition is more important than colour! Plus I can’t be arsed with the upkeep anymore. I was considering a semi perm over the blonde in a darker blonde colour or caramel actually but can’t decide 🤣

Your actual hair colour is nice and it looks healthy.
