What's the best fake diamonds

Right, as long as I have been alive, I've had a dream of buying myself a gorgeous diamond ring. I'm now in the financial position to do so, have been to shop after shop, got close to buying but at the last minute, just cannot do it. A friend has a 15k ring which now on her finger just isn't worth it. I want the sparkle, I want the look but I just don't want to wear that amount of money. I've boringly lost the draw of having it, but I would still like the sparkly stuff. What's a good fake diamond company?

compare the diamond, I've just received a lab grown solitaire pendant from them and it is fabulous. I am the biggest fuss arse on the planet, and I am genuinely pleased. I have a genuine diamond solitaire ring, and they are most comparable, I would never buy an expensive 'real' diamond again.

Go to a reputable jewellery shop and ask to look at the lab diamonds !

I don't think I want lab diamonds. I think I want cheapy fakes.

Heavenly (necklaces, as was) do high quality fake diamonds in proper settings.

I'm a jeweller, i was going to suggest going for lab grown but I see you prefer not.
They are so much cheaper than mined diamonds but have the same hardness which other copies or stones don't.

If you want a cheapy fake then Diamonique on QVC is the place to go .

I have some Heavenly bling, and it looks fantastic. I'm not careful enough to be let loose with real diamonds but love the solitaire earrings and pendant

Another vote for moissanite. I treated myself to one a few years ago. Much cheaper than a diamond and just as sparkly.

I have a lab diamond engagement ring and a fake moissanite one that looks the same for travelling etc. you can barely tell them apart! The only way of knowing is the moissanite is sparklier and more rainbow than the diamond.

There’s a uk Etsy shop called foreverforlove I’ve seen recommended a lot by the big moissanite Reddit forum.

Do you want other people to think it’s real or are you happy for them to know it’s fake?

I have been looking for a pair of small fake diamond stud earrings but am struggling. The Diamonique ones on QVC are great but far too big-I want something 3mm or 4mm not the equivalent of 1 or even 3 carat!

I want them to look real i think. I'm actually annoyed with myself as now I can finally afford it, they don't seem worth it

Could you try and get to a local auction house or reseller and buy second hand diamonds?
