Currently struggling to get rid of my dark spots / scarring that’s been brought by acne. My skincare routine right now is just a simple Cerave cleanser , moisturiser and an spf as I’ve tried absolutely everything to get rid of the scars,
any suggestions are greatly appreciated

Microdermabrasion might work well for you? I haven't tried it myself but the lady who does my lashes puts really good before and after pics on her website. Not sure where you are but if you say the rough area I could recommend if you're close.

Guess you’ve tried retinoids? What about Tretinoin?

I don’t have scarring but I like Cosrx stuff. Have you tried this ? https://www.beautybay.com/p/cosrx/centella-blemish-cream/

IPL for hair removal also evened out some of my skin tone issues; could be worth a try.
