I'm 34D so there would definitely be some cleavage - I'm very unbothered by that sort of thing, but still want to be taken seriously https://www2.hm.com/en_gb/productpage.1142598002.html

Sweetheart-neck top - Black - Ladies | H&M GB

No it isn't.

LlynTegid · 10/04/2023 12:42

I think so, given the work you do.

PalmtreesAndChampagne · 10/04/2023 12:51

No it's too sexy the shape of the cut around the chest is too sexy like a bustier top. No cleavage at work.

Really? Any reference to men not wearing tight trousers?

That is not the same thing and you know it.
The equivalent of tight trousers for men is tight trousers for women, they too can show camel toe.

I think you can wear whatever you like but think it’s a pity you even want to wear that. It’s designed to draw the eye to a woman’s breasts. So the designer of that top can fuck off in my opinion. They need to stop making objects of us.

But if you like it then that’s up to you.

I agree. The argument that it's feminist to wear whatever you like even show cleavage at work is laughable. It's not feminist to pander to the male gaze or sexualise ourselves. The skimpy clothes are for men's benefits but many have been brainwashed that they are dressing for themselves and that it doesn't matter what they wear meanwhile they are wearing the very clothes that oppress and limit them.

iwantchinese · 10/04/2023 12:58

I have this too but in a different colour and it is very low cut i had to keep pulling it up so i don't think it's suitable sorry.

GCWorkNightmare · 10/04/2023 13:12

I mean, I could wear polo necks everywhere but my tits would appear to be around my waist and that’s not a good look for anyone.

I wouldn’t wear that particular top to work but I do have many v neck and wrap tops. I will wear a vest top underneath but on occasion you might see an inch of boob. I’m a curvy hourglass and I’ll not be wearing the equivalent of a duvet cover to hide that. It’s got fuck all to do with anyone else.

TheYearOfSmallThings · 10/04/2023 13:14

I don't think it's office wear.

Powderandpaint · 10/04/2023 13:15

Depends on your work Dress Code, but generally it's a 'No' from me.

WhoWants2Know · 10/04/2023 13:17

It's probably fine but maybe be careful about leaning over too far.

hoven · 10/04/2023 13:19

It's acceptable but best to not risk you or anyone else feel uncomfortable- not worth it. Buy it to wear on the weekends

It's probably fine but maybe be careful about leaning over too far.

We watched Payback from 2003 last night and there's a scene where Uma Thurman turns slightly while sitting down and you see so much boobage I cringed.

Ben Affleck immediately asks her if she wants to cut to the chase and "go somewhere" with him.

It made me remember that horrible feeling of regretting today's top when any man came to talk to me at my desk and I could tell he could see down it.
