Flattering brands for larger ladies…

My wardrobe is looking rather tired and worn, but I’m struggling to find things that I like.

Can you please recommend brands that suit a larger lady (size 20 / 22). Early 30s, and trying to avoid the temptation to give in to frumpiness.

Mostly looking for tops - I prefer long-ish tops to cover my tummy.

Any ideas please?

Many of the online stores like ASOS have Curve ranges now. 689 tops in size 22 - just looked.

I'm a size 18 after previously being a 14/16.

Never did lose that pregnancy weight. I like the company beyond 9. They do adorable jumpsuits. I live in them and they have enough stretch that even though I'm trying to lose weight I'll hang on to them as we want to try for another baby.

I would wear their poppy jumpsuit wether pregnant or not and at any size. It's flipping cute!

Universal Standard are good. My friend who lives in the US rates them highly. Though it might not be worth it with shipping and customs duties.

Look at Jess Millichamps range with IntheStyle.

I think there might be a few things you'd like there.

Laura Adlington (was in Bake Off) has a great Instagram and often posts herself trying things on from different brands. I think she wears some great outfits.

Try Carolyn Donnelly The Edit Dunnes Stores.
She does a size 18.
It's an Irish brand so you won't see lots of her clothing in the UK.

Loads of good stuff in M and S recently, I've not bought from them for years.
