white jacket to a wedding?

Is it ok to wear a white jacket to a wedding? My dress is a black/white wrap dress and the jacket is white. I felt fine about it when I tried it on, but am worried that it breaks the no white rule. Is it ok?! I could wear a black jacket I guess
