How often do you take a selfie if you think you are looking good?

I don’t often take them, but took one as I think that today’s outfit and general look ( including my hair) just worked! Doesn’t happen hence the selfie.

I look in the mirror and most of the time see someone fresh-faced and looking good. I’d say I’m generally happy with my appearance.

Photos by other people are usually less flattering but at least recognisable.

In selfies I look haggard. I had to take a video of myself, just a few seconds long, for work, and I looked terrible! And whichever way I focused my eyes they looked shiftily sideways. In the end I got DS to take it for me and I looked 15 years younger and no longer like a criminal under interrogation.

DH will take a selfie of himself with landmarks if he’s away or gone for a long walk alone, I think it would be nice to be able to do that, but any selfies I take trigger instant delete.
