How often do you take a selfie if you think you are looking good?

I don’t often take them, but took one as I think that today’s outfit and general look ( including my hair) just worked! Doesn’t happen hence the selfie.

Never. I do have a friend in FB who regularly posts selfies, always with
the same wide-eyed mouth-ajar vacant expression, and gets loads of ‘U look gawjus hun’ comments, which I assume is why she does it. She’s around 40 as well, so doesn’t even have youth as her excuse!

Several times a week but I don't post them anywhere or share (other than sometimes sending one to my mum!).

I started doing it more last year to document something specific after coming through a really awful time in my life and kind of wanting something to remember the better times for.

Only when I feel particularly good, so maybe every 6 months or so. I don’t post them, just like having proof that I looks nice sometimes!

Never taken a selfie - why would I? If I need to know what I look like, I'll use a mirror. Who needs photos of themselves? It's bizarre.

I take them all the time. I’ve think I’ve posted like 3 on social media, but my camera roll is full of them.
dh always takes the piss asking why I take them if no one else sees them but I like looking through my nice pics. They are much better than the ghastly ones I get tagged in.
go ahead, take the selfie and ignore the haters. There is absolutely nothing wrong with taking pride in the way you look

Um I might find an excuse to take one or two of myself if I thought I was looking good! I don't post on social media but might end up sharing it with friends or family at some point.

My camera roll is filled with pics of the DC, holidays and memorable meals - but very few of just me. So yeah, gotta drop a few selfies occasionally

Never - I generally look worse in photos than I think I do, so it would be disappointing. And also I'm not 14.

there’s been times in my life where I don’t have a single photo of myself for years due to insecurity. It’s nice having things to look back on.

Who needs photos of themselves? It's bizarre.

I have photos of myself as a baby then the next photos of me to exist are when I’m 17. Nothing in between. Then no photos at all between 20-22. I’m currently 24. I feel like having no photos of yourself is more bizarre, feels like a massive gap.

When I have a new haircut or good make up or a nice fresh face glowy face after doing something that makes me happy. That way I have a store of a few decent looking photos should I ever need one for a Railcard or profile pic for work reasons etc.

It's not influenced by what I look like - I take them with a background to remember a happy occasion, I don't take them as portraits of myself. If I cared what I looked like I'd never appear in any photos at all 😁

I them them fairly regularly, both with and without makeup but rarely post them. I like to look back on what I looked like at different ages.

I never do of myself, simply because I never look good, although I do rarely with my kids. If you’re feeling good though, take that pic!

Don’t see what peoples issues are with selfies! I would never be offended by somebody posting a selfie, people need to learn to love and embrace themselves a little more and lighten up!
