Hooded and Deep Set Eyes

I have the luck to have both hooded and deep set eyes, basically as well as the hood I have hardly any eyelid space, so the usual tricks for hooded eyes don’t do much for me as there’s no space really for putting a ‘crease’ further up. Anything I do just ends up looking ‘muddy.’

It’s hard to find tutorials for actual hooded eyes (so many tutorials for them where they don’t actually have hooded eyes 🤷‍♀️), let alone deep set as well. Anyway - any tips, or just solidarity, welcome!

Also - I can’t wear fake eyelashes as they just look ridiculous - they’re always too big and practically touch my eyebrows.

Accent your cheekbones/lips instead and have nice hair. You can’t change your anatomy!

Ah I know, but I’d like to be able to make the best of them anyway. My other features aren’t going to win any awards either 😆

I have the same eye shape as you, and I use a dark brown eyeshadow blended up and out on the outer corners and I make a slight cat eye flick with the same eyeshadow with an eyeliner brush. I put a bit of shimmery gold shadow on my inner corners and a few swipes of mascara focussing on the outer corners again. I gave up trying any other eye makeup tyle long ago, they just don't work with this shape.

Gold eyeshadow is a winner here, also a bronze eyeliner on lower lids

There is a guy, Wayne Goss that has a tutorial on triple lining the upper lid that works. Line the upper wet line, in between the upper lashes and a thin line above, this works well.
