Hi,

Having the odd spot at the mo. Only difference has been changing my. spf.
Any recs for a decent, relatively cheap, able-to-be-found on the high street spf 50?
Thanks.

I use Altruist face fluid. I have acne and it hasn’t made mine any worse. And although it can leave you a bit greasy, it does settle in and makeup goes on well on top.

Frezyderm 50 (like a primer)
Heliocare 360 oil free 50 (light matte fluid)

Both on Amazon, both excellent but quite different.

Also get some tretinoin if you have acne.

I find altruist way too greasy. Lots of people like la Roche posay oil free but again I find it too shiny

I like the Cetaphil daily defence moisturiser - it has SPF50 and is around £15.

I know ideally you should use a separate SPF but I’ve never been able to find one that isn’t drying/irritating to my spot prone skin!

La Roche Posay Athelios. It's very light and dries in quickly. I prefer it to any other spf I've tried.

Heliocare oil free gel. I find it soaks in so quickly though so you have to apply it quite fast. A good base for make up too. Leaves skin matte.
