Love this Ghost dress but it's over budget

Looking for a dress to wear to a wedding.
I love this Ghost dress but it's about £100 over budget.

Has anyone seen anything similar, or can suggest what shops to look in?

@GhostRunner70 , buy the dress. it's not overpriced and you will wear it a lot. Sure, you could buy a £55 dress and it would be OK, but it would only ever be OK, whereas the OP one is perfect.
If you order it and find it's not your ideal dress, return it.

I ordered it yesterday (25% discount no less!).
I won't wear it a lot - I don't go to many fancy events.
I've ordered it collect in store so I can try it and return it straight away if I look terrible.

@GhostRunner70 , if you love it, you probably will. It looks like you could wear it to a christmas party or a summer garden party or evening out. Just swap the footwear and accessories. If you have the right dress, you'll find ways to wear it.

Tried it on - I haven't got the boobs. I'm not filling it

The fabric is gorgeous, and if feels lovely, but it is cut for a different shape to me.

you , the models don’t have boobs , I think the gathers give some illusion of curves , but if you aren’t happy with it , then choose something else , have fun looking

This is a screen shot of the model. She def has more cleavage than I do, but more than that, the dress is smoother over her bust. When I leaned over you could see right down my front. I guess some sort of magic bra would give more shape.
But as you say, it doesn't really matter - if I didn't feel great in it, it's not the one.

She may have implants. She may be using boob tape. The dress might be pinned at the back to make it sit smoothly: all tricks of the trade. She might be wearing a push-up bra or a stick on bra and the photo might be photoshopped to make it look smooth. Try something like this:

So this is the short list of dresses I already have. Sorry for crap pics, non ironed blue dress and no bra.
Both are comfortable. I think maybe the brown is a bit more special for a wedding, though the blue suits my figure better.
Wedding is on Saturday.

I like the brown , very simple and classic . If that’s the look you are after then cream to go with it
if you wanted a bit more pazzaz then maybe lime green

the blue is difficult to see , is it a dress or a jumpsuit ?

I have a pair of nude shoes which look good with the brown (high and a bit chunky). I have not even thought about what to put over it. I literally have nothing apart from jumpers and hoodies! Lime green would be fab!

I have a similar figure to you and find that most dresses do not fit right. They all seem to be designed to hang off the bust and skim the stomach, but if you don’t have a bust they go very, very wrong.

I always look for a dress with a high neck or wear separates.

I agree. Clothes that need a fuller bust don't fit well. Both the dresses I have are indeed high around my neck

The dressmaker who made a bridesmaid dress for me actually suggested I get a padded bra so the dress would fit better. He had my measurements so I don't know why he couldn't make it to fit. It was sleeveless and had a boned bodice. He probably should have done what they often do with younger girls - cut an elegant, simple strapped bodice or halter neck.

I think in your position I would definitely hunt for a better bra (maybe push up/padded). That would make all your clothes lie a bit better I think. Prefer the blue (brown always feels such a grim colour).

Nope. I don't want to change my body shape to fit into clothes, I just need to get clothes that fit me well.
I will wear a bra with the dress I wear, I just threw them on yesterday after a shower to take some pics.

The green one in other contenders post you put up looks brilliant in your photo there. I'd go with that.

That's the green dress pic you posted next to the pink dress where it says "other new contenders". The pink one is ok but the green one looks just lovely and a great colour and looks like it fits really nicely from the photo too.
