I’m contemplating having a biotin injection to aid with my hair loss after surgery.

Has anyone had this injection? And did it make any difference?

Thanks

Biotin’s water based so what’s the point?

You can buy build up drinks on eBay like fortisip or ensure if your struggling post op. They used to give them out years ago but it got to expensive.

Thanks @FormerlyPathologicallyHappy
i was given those fortisip after my surgery and was really sick. It wasn’t related but I don’t think I could look at one again.

Who recommended biotin injections?

Fair enough. You’ll piss out excess biotin in hours. Your going to need a diet with plenty of carbs and protein and lots of vitamins.

Take a proper iron supplement , 200mg or so every day not with tea or coffee if your poo doesn’t go green/black you aren’t absorbing it.

Rosemary oil in a carrier oil or the ordinary Hemi squalene at the roots the night before washing.

Satin hair bonnet off amazon worn every night.

I was on a very high dose of steroids for a long time and was concerned about hair loss and my nails. I took biotin tablets and used a biotin shampoo and my nails were awesome my hair too.
