Invisalign...have I messed it up?

I am about 3/4 of my way through my treatment - a long treatment, I have 87 trays!

I've had a really difficult few months and the truth is I've not been wearing my aligners enough and now I've developed a large gap on my front teeth.

I want to be rescanned and start again now I'm feeling better, but will my dentist do that? Especially if I admit it's my fault for not wearing them? I really can't afford to spend any more money. I've got a comprehensive package if that means anything.

Comprehensive means you have refinements included. Essentially if something goes off track then you should be able to be scanned again, and another course ordered starting from where you are now. Definitely speak to your Ortho and explain the situation. You'll most likely find them understanding as it does happen.
