Replacing buttons-where to buy

I have a pair of capri trousers with 3 functional buttons on the bottom of each leg. They are white and boring. The trousers are black. I'd like to spruce them up with some funky new buttons. Where is best to buy them? Something fun I think. Maybe stars because I love stars but also open to dinosaurs for my feminist styling. Oooh or maybe I should just go green, white, purple suffragette colour? In stars.

York has duttons for buttons which is fabulous, or there is probably a haberdashers near you?

Failing that John Lewis.

You may know someone like me who will save any buttons I like when ragging clothes. You could ask on freebie sites.
I save them by threading through the set and store them until needed.
I've been known to buy a cheap charity shop garment just for the buttons.

You could look in haberdashers or on a site like Welcome | The Button Company.
I've not used them and found them just now when your thread reminded me that I have a jacket that would benefit from a new set of buttons (or going in the rag bag Grin)

You can have a look in Hobbycraft or online at Etsy, or the yarn shops all sell buttons as well - Wool Warehouse for example.

Type in buttons on the Shein website. OK some are not happy with that company but they have so many different buttons and very easy on the wallet too.

Hobbycraft sell quite a few buttons, or Google your local haberdashery.

EBay has lots of buttons

Thank you. I like the ones at the Wool place. There's a Sew In near me but it's only small so not much choice but I'll have a look. I'll go into Hobbycraft too. Their website isn't great and I prefer to look in person if possible. There's a John Lewis here too but 2 buses away so will see.
