Botox for facial hyperhidrosis

After a sweaty summer last year I am looking at getting Botox on my forehead and upper lip.
Has anyone had this treatment before? Did it work? (temporarily I know)
The only thing I worry about is it zapping the sweat glands in those areas leading to excess sweating in other areas - is that a thing?

Never heard of botox on a top lip, how would you talk ? If you need to sweat It will come out somewhere else. Why are you so hot ;)? I'm the same but its thyroid related.

Have you tried odaban? Works really well on faces. Stings a bit the first time though.

@Pedrotok yes I tried it a few years ago but it was too harsh for my sensitive skin and left me with blisters!

@userxx I’m not sure what’s caused my hyperhidrosis but I’ve been suffering since I was a child.

I had Botox for underarm hyperhidrosis and it did make me sweatier on my forehead as a result. It also wore off far more quickly than I expected and I seemed to build up a tolerance to it, so the third time I had it the dose I’d had previously (that had been effective) barely worked.
